New Mad Dog Gear® Rip-Lite™ hunting wear is lightweight and cool without sacrificing durability

Press Release

St. Cloud, MN… No other lightweight hunting apparel has the strength of Stearns® new Mad Dog Gear® Rip-Lite™ fabric. In fact, Rip-Lite is up to 200% stronger than comparable fabrics. Despite its heavyweight toughness, Rip-Lite is extremely lightweight and cool. This makes the full lineup of Rip-Lite apparel perfect for turkey, dove and early-season big game hunters.

Mad Dog Gear has introduced the Rip-Lite series in both adult and youth-sized apparel that includes: short and long-sleeve shirts, zip-off pants, shorts and a jacket (jacket available in adult sizes only). The adult shirts have large bellowed chest pockets with Velcro® closure flaps, mesh-lined shoulders and a caped front and back for additional ventilation. The long-sleeve shirts feature roll-up tabs for the sleeves. Youth shirts are built the same with the exception of the caped design.

Adult and youth Rip-Lite Zip-Off Pants have zippered legs that convert the pants to shorts in a matter of seconds. Hunters will appreciate this design when the weather switches from mild to hot. For maximum gear storage, both the pants and Rip-Lite Shorts have a 6-pocket design. Additional features include a zipper fly, belt loops and side take-up tabs.

The Rip-Lite Jacket (adult sizes only) is nylon-lined and has a zip front with storm flap and a stand-up collar with roll-up hood for weather protection. Articulated elbows and Velcro® tabbed wrist cuffs provide a comfortable fit. Roomy two-way front pockets with snap closures are great for gear storage and hand warming. All Mad Dog Gear® Rip-Lite™ apparel is available in Mossy Oak Break-Up® or Realtree Hardwoods Green® HD camouflage. Adult sizes are M, L, XL and XXL; youth sizes include S, M, L.
