At the heart of the Remington Black Powder System is our standard Model 700 ML–the only muzzleloader based on the time-proven design of the Model 700 bolt action rifle. The same fit, feel, and function as its centerfire counterpart. The same rock-solid strength and reliability. The same crisp trigger and lightning-fast lock time. And of course, the same legendary out-of-the-box accuracy.
Each gun is equipped with the super hot 209 primer ignition for fast, positive powder ignition and can handle up to 150 grains of black powder or black powder equivalent – perfect those who prefer Pyrodex® pellets. All exterior metalwork features a satin blued finish that is easier to clean and helps to eliminate glare. The rugged, weather-proof synthetic stock can handle the most demanding hunting conditions.
