New Sequoia™ Variable Power Spotting Scope

BEAVERTON, Ore. – Wind River® Wilderness Optics introduces the Sequoia™, a new
15-45x60mm spotting scope designed to provide hunters and shooters with versatile, powerful
optics and easy, reliable use in the field or at the range.
The Sequoia comes in two models, one with a straight eyepiece and the other with a
45-degree angled eyepiece that helps make the spotting scope easy to use from a variety of
positions, including prone.
“With a magnification range of 15 to 45 power, the Sequoia can be used for most types of
viewing,” said Mike Slack, marketing communications manager for Leupold, which imports
Wind River products.
“This spotting scope offers a wide field of view for easy location of the
object as well as the high magnification required to bring out the details.”
Slack added, “It is also important to note that while the Sequoia is made for rugged use in
the field, it has features – such as the angled eyepiece – that make it very easy to use. All in all,
this is a spotting scope that, at a very competitive price, has a lot to offer hunters and shooters.”
Long eye relief (16.5-13.0mm) and roll-down eyecups help make the Sequoia
comfortable to use for extended periods, even with glasses.
Built to withstand the rigors of field use, the Sequoia has rubber, shock-absorbing armor
to provide additional protection against knocks, bumps and falls.
To make it absolutely
waterproof, the scope is nitrogen filled and sealed.
Other key features:
• Fully multi-coated lenses for maximum light transmission and a bright, clear
image
• Focus dial located atop the scope for ease of adjustment
• Built-in tripod adapter port allows easy installation on any standard 1/4-20 thread
tripod head
