Springfield Armory® has introduced a new Service Model 1911-A1 pistol featuring the attractive duo-tone Black Stainless™finish and the fully adjustable Bomar style 3-Dot Tritium sights. It’s packed with standard accessories and Springfield quality, making it one of the year’s best values.
The Black Stainless™Service Model 5-inch 1911 has loads of standard features, including standard Delta lightweight hammer, Black Macarta Double Diamond slimline grips, a forged frame and slide and Springfield’s new ultra-smooth and rounded Extreme Carry Bevel™ Treatment for ease of carry and holstering safety.
Also standard is Springfield’s distinctive Integral Locking System™ (I.L.S.™), a totally internal, completely passive locking system, which functions within the 1911 mainspring housing. Look for other innovative standard features like extended ambidextrous thumb safety, titanium firing pin, lightweight adjustable speed trigger, and loaded chamber indicator.
