Hunting- For a gear-intensive, all day or overnight hunting trip, the Commander has the storage options and water you need to help ensure a safe, comfortable and triumphant pursuit.
Designed after CamelBak systems used by the US Military for extended operations, this pack is built to withstand the toughest hunting environments. The Commander offers CamelBak’s proven hydration technology and pack performance. It’s quiet, water-resistant and well camouflaged in the popular Realtree® Hardwoods Green HD™ hunting pattern.
Storing over 2500 cu in of hunting gear, the Commander remains steady and comfortable with its stable harness and padded, load-bearing waist belt. A large main compartment holds extra layers and larger hunting gear while a roomy “floating” outer pocket stores a knife, calls and a flashlight in a deluxe organizer. For more cumbersome items, the Commander offers an external overflow storage system. Generous dual side pockets, each with inner organizing pockets, hold binoculars, a scope and other hunting gear. The Commander’s easy-access waist belt pockets, with ammo organizer, keeps calls, a compass and ammo within reach.
The Commander houses a 3-litre / 100-ounce reservoir with CamelBak’s new HydroGuard™ Anti-Microbial Technology, which uses an embedded FDA-approved compound to naturally inhibit the growth of common microorganisms. Making for easy cleaning, the Commander features CamelBak’s wide-mouthed OMEGA™ Reservoir. CamelBak’s Big Bite™ Valve and PureFlow™ tubing allow for easy access to taste-free water.
The Commander’s closed cell insulation keeps water cool (or warm) all day. If hunting in extremely cold temperatures, CamelBak’s Thermal Control Kit™ can be added to resist fluid freeze-up in the delivery tube and Big Bite™ Valve.
The Commander is the largest of CamelBak’s three new hunting packs. Also introduced are the Ranger, a medium-to-large size hunting pack, and the Striker, a small-to-medium size hunting pack.
