Darton Archery is proud to offer avid crossbow hunters its exciting Great Lakes Impact™ crossbow, which
was designed to combine top performance with easy maneuverability and stealth. Packed with power and
value, it offers a tremendous range of features and value.
The Great Lakes Impact™ crossbow can be described best in one word: “fast.” It can propel a 475-grain
arrow at a scorching 343 feet per second and shoot a big 525-grain arrow at 331 fps. This translates to a
lethal 128 pounds of kinetic energy from a compact crossbow that measures just under 29 inches tip-to-tip,
and weighs in at just 7 3/4 pounds.
Complete with Sims’ latest LimbSaver® technology, this amazing crossbow employs quad limbs which
deliver a forceful 17-inch “Power Stroke” with a peak weight of 165 pounds. The front riser is made of
machined aluminum. Round energy cams ensure powerful delivery, while a precision-machined arrow
track and a hard anodized, Teflon-impregnated barrel mean smooth, accurate shooting. The synthetic
“Power Yoke” cables on the Great Lakes Impact™ crossbow feature split anchor attachments on each
limb to balance the limb torque at high velocities.
The Great Lakes Impact™ crossbow is designed for safe, convenient shooting. Its patented, machined
trigger offers controlled sensitivity, and a smooth pull of just under five pounds. This innovative crossbow
accepts two different cocking mechanisms and features an adjustable butt-plate for a custom fit.
