The Magnock® System- PRO1 Receiver

Bow Hunting

The Magnock “magnetic nock” system has only been available to the public for a short time and has already proven to be one of the greatest innovations in modern archery. There have been a number of documented successes with the current Magnock system but, like all new products, improvements are sure to be discovered and deserve to be researched and tested. We wondered how could we possibly improve what we had. We knew through advice and innovation from those who had the vision to look beyond what some others wanted us to see that new and better ideas would surface.

One of those better ideas came up through a vision by one of archery’s better-known shooters, Pat Dorigatti, known as “Pro1” to many archery discussion forums. If it weren't for people like Pat, willing to try new ideas and help improve them, man would still be throwing rocks instead of shooting arrows. On behalf of the Magnock family we’re proud to announce that the new revised receiver will bear Pat’s nickname “Pro1.”

The patented magnetic concept is the same. The change is in the way that the receiver is installed onto the bowstring. The Pro1 receiver is lighter, shorter, easier to install, has less speed loss, less vibration, is more forgiving for fall-away arrow rests, and has smoother edges.

The Magnock system is still the only professionally documented modern nock system on the market that proves it has the lightest and most consistent releasing action off the bowstring with absolutely no variance at any temperature or in any weather conditions. How does it work? By eliminating the traditional hard snap off the string like today’s conventional nocks. Through the technology of magnetism, the Magnock system releases with exactly the same tension every time with absolutely no variance. The magnetic release in combination with your own string D-loop also reduces the ill effects of under or over spined arrows creating better and more efficient flight.

The Magnock system reduces the effects of over or under spined arrows and decreases shaft flexing:

Decreased arrow shaft flexing = Smaller vanes with less helical placement can be used because now the vanes are only needed for maintaining straight flight; Smaller vanes and less helical placement = less weight and drag; Less weight and drag = better aerodynamics, increased flight efficiency, less down range drop and less planing; Less down range drop and planing = higher kinetic energy at the target and increased accuracy at all distances.

INCREASING ACCURACY through exact consistency with the lightest release of any nock is what the Magnock system is all about. No other modern nock made can make these claims.

The Magnock system starter set consists of everything a mechanical release or finger shooter needs to set up 1 bow and nocks for 12 arrows. The Magnock arrow nocks come in two sizes and fit any arrow that uses G-nocks, Super Nocks, Beiters or any uni-bushing. In addition instructions to modify the Magnock small nocks to fit X-10 and CT McKinney pins can be requested with your order.
