Final Approach Introduces an Industry First Design in Laydown Blinds

Kolpin® Outdoors Inc., and its industry leading Final Approach® waterfowl enthusiast brand introduce the newest in their lineup of laydown hunting blinds, the Air Controller™. Final Approach Founder Ron Latschaw has developed another industry first with this full coverage backpack blind, by utilizing a revolutionary new concept in rigid “Air-Cell™ design. The Air Controller™ offers total concealment for hunters, along with incredible comfort and warmth, without sacrificing the Final Approach® standard of rugged durability.
The Air Controller’s™ Air-Cell™ system forms a rigid support structure that instantly collapses to a compact backpackable unit. The blind can easily be inflated or deflated in just seconds, and folds into a package small enough to fit in a suitcase for airline travel.
The camouflage fabric exterior is constructed of extremely durable polyester with a double polyurethane waterproof coating. The floor is made of rugged, waterproof K-Tarp for the ultimate protection from wet, muddy ground. The closed-cell foam padded headrest, backrest and seat provide total comfort and warmth. This revolutionary design boasts an extremely low profile of only 14 inches.
The Air Controller features all of Final Approach’s original innovations, including Stubble Straps™ for added concealment, convenient dual-side openings for easy flagging access and detachable face mesh for complete camouflage. It also comes complete with the handy gun scabbard, for “hands-free” transport of your shotgun and flags.
The Final Approach Air Controller™ is available in Mossy Oak® Shadow Grass™ (Model 433600), Natural Gear® (Model 433610) and Advantage® Max 4™ (Model 433620), and will be available in June 2004.
