Badlands has long been known for offering the most innovative hunting equipment available. And for 2004 they are doing it again. The New Badlands ‘Hunters Only Light Systems’ which includes two new headlamps, the Tracker Tool and NOW the LED Hunters Hat.

“This newly designed hat was conceived during one of our weekly design meetings, when someone around the table, brought up the fact, that even the best equipment does you no good if you left it back at the truck”. Said Badlands Head Designer, Dave Bradley. With that little bit of enlightenment (pun intended), we set out to develop a new line of lights that ‘were there when you needed them’.

The one thing we noticed was that hunters love hats and everyone we surveyed about what they wore in the field almost invariably mentioned their favorite camo-patterned ball cap. So it only made sense to try and incorporate a lighting system into the hat it’s self.

So now if you left the tree stand a little later than you thought, you have light. If you arrived at your favorite hunting spot before dawn, you have light. If you need to grab something quickly out of the bottom of your pack, you have light. The truck breaks down and you need to look under the hood, you guessed it, light is right there where you need it!

The built in light is basically undetectable, replaceable and will provide the user with about 15 hours of continuous light.
