New Digital Outdoor Camera from Bushnell® Is Built for Rugged, Outdoors Use.

friends is part of the outdoor tradition. The new digital
Outdoor Camera by Bushnell® makes it much easier and
less worrisome to carry a camera afield.
This compact 4"x 2-1/2" Outdoor Camera was designed especially for hunters, campers, hikers
and adventure travelers. Moisture, dust, extreme conditions and abuse take a toll on most
digital cameras, but not the new Bushnell Outdoor Camera. It is constructed with a durable,
shock-resistant body that is water resistant with a non-slip, rubber armored grip. The lens is
protected by a clear cover so there is no cap to lose in the woods.
The Outdoor Camera takes high quality 3.2 Megapixel digital photos, and its 4x digital zoom
captures the subjects and action up close. Along with great still photos, the Outdoor Camera
will also shoot movie clips in avi video format at a smooth 20 frames per second.
The camera is ready for a beginner to use right out of the box, with everything set for fully
automatic operation. The more experienced or creative user also has complete control over
color balance, contrast, resolution and other settings to handle any photo situation. For quick
review and editing, there is a 1.5-inch TFT LCD color monitor on the back of the camera that
can also be used to preview the photo before you take it. A convenient one-touch photo
review button gives the user a quick look at the photos in memory. Other features include a
built-in flash, timer and date/time stamp.
Internally there is 16MB of storage and the memory can be expanded with an SD card. Two
AA alkaline batteries power the camera. It has a USB port for downloading pictures to a PC,
and can print directly to Pictbridge capable printers. The Outdoor Camera comes with a CDROM
with Roxio® PhotoSuite 5 Imaging software and the necessary drivers for Windows
98/98SE operating systems. The camera is “plug and play” on Windows® 2000 and
Windows® XP with no drivers needed.
The Outdoor Camera by Bushnell comes complete with a USB cable, carrying case and wrist
strap. It’s available in hunter green or marine yellow. It is available at Bushnell dealers
