with integrated hydration system.
If you have ever tried to shoot your bow while carrying a
full-sized backpack, you already know the value of a pack
designed specifically for bowhunting.
The new Excursion from
King Sport Line, a division of archery manufacturer Precision Shooting Equipment,
Inc., has all the features needed for multi-day trips into the backcountry.
Starting with the lightweight metal internal frame, King Sport Line designed
the Excursion for hard use in rugged country. It pulls in close to your body for
optimal balance; a molded Flex Foam™ back panel cushions the load. Four-inch
padded hip panels, a two-inch nylon waist belt and adjustable contoured shoulder
straps allow you to carry heavy loads in comfort.
The bulk of the Excursion backpacks capacity comes in the form of one
large primary compartment that is 28 x 14 x 8 inches in size totaling an impressive
3,136 square inches. A removable center divider permits you to organize your
gear and maintain proper weight distribution and balance on tough trails. A slotted
roof lid and a zippered side entry slot at the bottom of the main compartment make
it easy to access all your gear.

The main compartment also contains a water pouch that is accessible via a
tube so you can stay hydrated while hiking and hunting. A large secondary pouch
on the back of the pack is perfect for snack items, maps, knives and small items
you need readily at hand. A pair of storage wings wrap around the sides of the
pack and across the back to serve as a convenient place to store additional items
and to contain any external gear tied to the pack.
