Falcon Rods Introduces Dri-Lite -- Ultra-Lightweight, Breathable Raingear for Anglers

Rain Gear -BROKEN ARROW, Okla. - Falcon Rods has introduced Falcon Breathable Raingear (FBR), a new series of rain-shedding garments constructed with a new and super-light synthetic fabric that is fully breathable, quiet, and 100 percent dry.
Initially Falcon retailers will stock two-piece versions of the new high-tech raingear, the Dri-Lite Bib Suit with suspenders and a parka and the Dri-Lite Pant Suit, also with a parka. In either version, the two-piece suits are extremely light, quickly packed and can be kept readily available in a tackle box, waist-pack or on the boat.
The pants of the Dri-Lite Bib Suit feature suspenders that loop over the shoulders and a parka length, hooded jacket that doubles as a windbreaker. The Dri-Lite Pant Suit features trousers with a gathered waist. Both sets are made with generous full cuts so sportsmen can easily pull them over their fishing or hunting clothes when storms come. The hooded parka features extra wide double storm flaps, facial storm shields, and ragland sleeves to prevent water entry.
Falcon's retail price on the Dri-Lite Pants Suit is $49.95 in either blue or gray. Hunters will be interested in the Dri-Lite Pants Suit, priced at $79.95, featuring Mossy Oak's NEW Break-Up® camo pattern. The Dri-Lite Bib Suit, in gray or blue, is priced at $59.95. Sportsmen may also purchase a stuff bag in blue, gray or camo.
The pores in the high-tech material create a one-way barrier that stops rain from coming in but allows body heat and perspiration to escape. Seams are waterproofed with ultrasonic welding. "Falcon applied its fishing know-how to this challenge, producing the ultimate rainsuit," said Chris Beckwith, Falcon's vice president of marketing. "Even as it repels the rain, Falcon Dri-Lite rain gear keeps breathing so you stay cool and collected. It can be raining cats and dogs, but you'll stay focused on catching fish."
