Bushnell® Creates A New Category Of Digital Binoculars Hunting Gear - Bushnell Digital Binoculars
Bushnell Digital Binoculars- The optics industry has entered the digital age and Bushnell® is
leading the way with a complete line of digital binoculars. This new line incorporates high
quality optics with digital technology to bring
the action and outdoors up close so users can
capture either still images or video footage.
Bushnell’s line of digital binoculars builds upon
the success of the company’s ImageView™ and Instant Replay™ products. These products
have been improved for 2004 and are joined by four new products. Bushnell now offers a
digital binocular/camera to meet any need or budget. The new line includes:
Bushnell ImageView — The original ImageView incorporates a 10x25mm binocular with a compact
0.35 megapixel digital camera. It’s ideal for bird watching, concerts or sporting events. The
binocular has a compact roof prism design so it’s lightweight and easy to carry. Fully coated
optics provide clear, bright images and rubber armoring provides additional protection.
The camera provides 8x magnification and is Perma- focused from 40 feet to infinity. The 8 MB
of internal memory will hold up to 75 digital photos at high resolution and 300 at low
resolution. The Image View uses two AAA batteries and includes a neck strap and carrying
case, USB cable and PhotoSuite software for downloading images to a PC. Suggested retail
price is $91.99
Bushnell Pocket ImageView — Designed for quick handling and ease of use, the Pocket ImageView
can be easily mistaken for a camera because of its compact size. However, it offers 7x
magnification with 18mm objective lenses. Fully coated optics make it ideal for sports and
traveling. It has 16 MB of internal memory and will capture up to 150 high resolution or 500
low resolution still pictures. It comes with a neckstrap and carrying case, USB cable and
PhotoSuite software. Suggested retail price is $109.99.
Bushnell ImageView 1.3 — This new binocular is a more powerful version of the standard ImageView.
With 16 MB of internal flash memory, users can take higher resolution 1.3 megapixel still
photos. The camera’s plug and play technology makes it easy to download pictures. The optics
have been upgraded with 30mm objective lenses that are multi-coated for optimal light
transmission. Neckstrap and carrying case are standard, along with a USB cable and PhotoSuite
software. Suggested retail price is $149.99
Bushnell ImageView 2.1 — With the ability to take 2.1 megapixel still photos, the ImageView 2.1
binocular has all the same features of the ImageView 1.3. Features include 16 MB of internal memory and mass storage, plus a Secure Digital (SD) slot for using memory cards to increase
image storage. Standard accessories include neckstrap, carrying case, USB cable and
PhotoSuite software. Suggested retail price is $199.99.
Bushnell ImageView 2.1 LCD — The most full- featured of all the ImageView binoculars, this model
adds a 1.5-inch LCD screen so users can review and edit the images they have captured. Picture
resolution is 2.1 megapixels. For user convenience, this model also has mass storage and SD
slot. Standard accessories still include neckstrap, carrying case, USB cable and PhotoSuite
software. Retail price is $279.99.
Bushnell Instant Replay — Bushnell’s premium digital binocular, Instant Replay combines an 8x32mm
binocular with BaK-4 prisms and multi-coated lenses with a high-quality digital camera. With a
16 MB compact flash card, it produces .35 megapixel movie clips/15fps for 30 seconds or 2.1
megapixel still photographs. You can upgrade the card to attain more pictures. It has an LCD
screen for viewing the pictures and movies, as well as buttons for adjusting the sharpness and
magnification of images. The LCD screen shows the captured images in full image view in
addition to thumbnails. An automatic shut-off features preserves battery life.
The Bushnell Instant Replay offers plenty of internal memory and mass storage, plus it comes with a16
MB compact flash card. The Instant Replay uses two-AA batteries and includes a neckstrap,
carrying case, USB and video cables and PhotoSuite software. Suggested retail price: $599.99.
