The Excursion
is an ultra high performance bow that offers a lightweight, radical
riser design with a “laid back” limb angle. At full draw, the limb tips are very nearly parallel
to each other. When you release the string, the limbs move primarily in the vertical
direction. Because the forces oppose each other, they cancel each other out and produce very little recoil.
The result is a pleasant, comfortable experience that improves accuracy.
The Gander Mountain Excursion
features Hybrid Cam Technology with four inches of draw length adjustment from 28” draw length to 31” draw length in half-inch increments to customize the fit for
each archer without requiring a bowpress. The moderate axle-to-axle length of 35” on the Excursion ™ makes this the ultimate bow to take turkey hunting or whitetail deer hunting.
Additional features of Gander Mountain’s Excursion™ hybrid cam bow are a forgiving brace height of 7½ inches and 75% effective let-off making this bow the smoothest 300 fps bow around. Bowhunters can choose peak weights of 60 pounds or 70 pounds.
