Hunting Bows - The new Mathews Classic is fast, compact and, at 3.6 lbs., it’s as light as a feather. And, it features some of Mathews latest technology! The Classic features the all-new InLine Grip, which is ergonomically superior and has a wood inlay that shows the center of the grip to establish centershot.

The Classic also features two vibration-quelling technologies – Harmonic Damping and String Suppressors™ for smooth, quiet shooting. The Harmonic Damping System™ places weights at either end of the riser that float in elastic to eat up riser vibration. String Suppressors are tiny “fingers” that reach out and actually touch the bowstring so, upon release, vibration is further reduced.

Like all Mathews bows, the Classic comes equipped with a Zebra® ZS Twist™ bowstring. By twisting the strands in two bundles in the opposite direction and then counter-twisting the two bundles, peep rotation is virtually eliminated.
