Hunter's View Silver Condor Lite Tree Stands
Tree Stands Manufacturer: Hunter's View Hunter's View Model: Silver Condor Lite Review Category: Tree Stands
Purchase: Wal-Mart, close out, $100.
Things I like about the Hunter's View Silver Condor Lite: 22 pounds, comparable to other light weight tree stands.
What I don't like about the Hunter's View Silver Condor Lite: First climbing tree stand I have ever purchased, so I did not know anything about them. This climber can be quet, but you must modify it and do some work on it first or it is very noisy. Lowes has "Plasti Dip" in flat black that places a rubber layer on the pins and metal surfaces and the climbing cables. After you do this, it is smooth and quite, otherwise you will wake the dead.
Silver Condor Lite quality: Appears good and they are safety oriented. I also like some of their safety cinch straps they provide and ropes to tie the seat and foot rest together. Climbing a tree that the bark is not too rough on, I learned any climbing tree stand can slip down the tree. This would be bad news if the foot rest takes off while you are in the seat portion.
Silver Condor Lite summary: From a dollar standpoint, it is probably one of the more economical stands around that can be tuned and modified to be very quite if you want to play with it making it a great stand.
