Purchase: Purchased several last 3 years at various sporting goods stores from $119 to $139 each.
Things I like about the Shimano Stadic: Price, light weight and attractive looking.
What I don't like about the Shimano Stadic: Line pulley attached with plastic that gets grooved by line and ruins reel.
Stadic quality: Good except above.
Stadic summary: Would like the reels except for the aboe problem
