Mathews Conquest 2 Archery Bows
Archery Bows Manufacturer: Mathews Mathews Model: Conquest 2 Review Category: Archery Bows
Purchase: Archery Bows This is the third year I have been using this bow and I must say, it gets more enjoyable to shoot every time I pick it up. I have owned a compound bow for 24 years and had been shooting the same one during that time. When I turned 49 I decided it was time for a new one. Alot of research went into this purchase ie., tried every brand out there. I wanted a longer length bow because of my height 6'5" the bow is 41" but I also like the feel that there is something in my hand 4.4lbs. I paid $700 which seems like alot but I do plan on this being my last bow purchase. Purchased at an dedicated archery shop.
Things I like about the Mathews Conquest 2 Archery Bows: The performance of the bow compared to other brands could not be beat, extremely quiet (as Mathews advertises)smooth (when you release the bow does not jump at all, I shoot a release) limb construction, I did not want a split limb design. Overall, (and you really need to do this) when you check this bow out, you will see flawless workmanship. Apparently Mathews is careful who they have sell their product because you won't see it in every sporting goods store, and I will say the service I received from where I purchased mine was great, this guy knows his stuff and was not at all high pressure.
What I don't like about the Mathews Conquest 2: After 3 years of shooting this bow I still like everything about it.
Archery Bows Conquest 2 quality: I wanted a bow to last me the rest of my hunting years and and I picked this one for the constuction and quality. After I tested it out I then went over it very carefully to see how it was put together, and I have to say, you have to see it for yourself. The quality is the best, right down to the paint job.
Conquest 2 summary: As I mentioned above, Mathews does not allow just anyone to sell their equipment, the area I live I would say this shop was the only one within a 50 mile radius, although I'm not really sure. The bottom line is, you really need to check these out before you make a purchase, it will be worth the drive.
