Ol' Man Grand Vision Tree Stands
Tree Stands Manufacturer: Ol' Man Ol' Man Model: Grand Vision Review Category: Tree Stands
Purchase: I purchased this product in 2001 at Draves Archery in Effingham, Illinois. I was looking into getting a climber so that I could start hunting. I wanted something versatile enough to get me around. I paid $230 for this Ol' Man Grand Vision.
Things I like about the Ol' Man Grand Vision : The net seating is comfortable and very easy to climb with this unit. The gun/foot rest can be flipped around to be used as either a foot or gun rest. The gun rest works great during shotgun season here in Illinois.
What I don't like about the Ol' Man Grand Vision : At 26lbs the unit can be somewhat heavy especially at how much distance I have to hike to get to the tree I climb. Thats is about my only complaint, there are more pros then cons on this particular climber.
Grand Vision quality: Made of all aluminum and padded gun/foot rest. The climber will support up to 350lbs.
The cables are covered in quiet 3/16" vinyl. Durable autumn green powder coated finish.
Grand Vision summary: Great overall stand, the only category its lacking in is the weight of the unit. Weight plays a big role in stand selection so I gave it a 4.
