Things I like about the Famous Trails Night Vision FT950 5X Power Archery Bows: Uses only 1 AA Battery which lasts about 10 hours of use. Has Rubberized housing,but it is not waterproof. Can be held in one hand during operation.
What I don't like about the Famous Trails Night Vision FT950 5X Power: On Humid nights the unit will only view 15 yards. IRD illuminator placed on top only allows view to 75 -80 yds clearly. This is
a Gen I product view is only clear when you have subject in center of focus. Two feet to the right/or/left is blurry out of focus; even at only 15 yards! Didn't have tripod screw on bottom of unit. ALL of Famous Trails units are Made in Russia but imported through a California company.

FT950 5X Power summary: Sent unit back, can't pay 180. and only see
75-80 yards. Unit didn't come with good directions either; focusing was a real pain in the but. It has two eyepieces one on rear , then you focus one on front. Never could get them to work right.If this is suppossed to be the "flagship' of their line
then, they have problems over there.
