Purchase: Archery Bows I recently traded a Bowtech Justice for my Patriot. The Justice shot very well but I decided it was just a little short and the longer axle to axle Patriot would be better when shooting 3D. I am very happy to say I have not been disappointed. My Patriot was priced at $679.00 and was purchased at Scheels Sporting Goods in Coralville, Ia.
Things I like about the Bowtech Patriot/Single Cam Archery Bows: The bow draws beautifully and the way Bowtechs are able to adjust the draw stop makes it so you never have to struggle with draw length. Upon full draw I find that this bow sits true with very little cant if any from side to side according to my site level. On release I find this bow to be the smoothest I have shot. The limb design eliminates virtually all vibration and noise which I,m sure will make for a wonderfull hunting experience when shooting around multiple deer and turkey.
What I don't like about the Bowtech Patriot/Single Cam: I am a little concerned about the durabilty of the camo. The Justice I traded was only one month old and showed far to many signs of wear and abuse in the finish. This has not been a problem yet but I will be watching to see how this bow does.
Archery Bows Patriot/Single Cam quality: My Patriot seems very well built. I have shot Mathews for a number of years and I feel Bowtech gives up nothing to them in quality and design. The one thing I said before is the durability of the finish will be something I watch for the future.
Patriot/Single Cam summary: All in all this is an unbelievably smooth and fast shooting bow. I was going to buy a new Mathews Outback this season but am so happy I have made the switch to Bowtech. The lighter weight and superb balance and feel have me convinced this is the best bow I could have picked for my use.
