Purchase: Trail Cameras (t-z) I bought this unit because I wanted some bear pictures off my bait site. Bought it at Sportsman's Warehouse in Idaho. Paid $75 with tax.
Things I like about the Stealth Cam MC2 Stealth Cam MC2 Trail Cameras (t-z): I bought 2 units. Set them up on 2 different bait sites. Have great pictures of multiple bears. One of them works great and has even snapped pictures of foxes, Pine Martens and anything else on it.
What I don't like about the Stealth Cam MC2 Stealth Cam MC2: I have one that is on my normal bait site that I believe the sensitivity is all wrong. Both Cams are set up exactly the same. Only thing is one doesn't take every picture that has movement. Me and wife where up hunting and I took a bear off the one that does not snap every movement which is my regular bait site. We covered it up on Sunday with logs and branches. Went back up 2 days later all the logs where moved and bait was uncovered. Not one pic. New bear scat next to the bait also. We did the same thing at other bait and it has 12 pics on it. So will be changing Cams to see if it is the camera.
Trail Cameras (t-z) Stealth Cam MC2 quality: It is a great unit and would highly recommend it. But do have one that might not work just right.
Stealth Cam MC2 summary: Just make sure you do not rely on just one unit to base your assumptions that something is not there that actually is in the area from the unit. Because it is still an electronic device that does make mistakes. Go on instincts rather than what they show.
Will give the unit high rating though as it is better than most units I have heard about. I did not just buy the unit and take it out. I did get alot of thumbs up from people that do own this unit and this is the one they did recommend buying.
