Purchase: Fishing Misc Equip I purchased these lures from a local tackle store for 3.50. The improved action is the reason i purchased them.
Things I like about the Gambler Bacon Rind Fishing Misc Equip: This lure has an improved action as compared to the other "creature" type baits. As the lure hits the bottom, the tail and wings float up quickly and then slowly fall, producing a ripple effect as it falls. This is much improved over the existing creature lures. All others just lay flat when they hit the bottom, with little if any movement at all.
What I don't like about the Gambler Bacon Rind: The Bacon Rind could be produced in more colors.
Fishing Misc Equip Bacon Rind quality: The lure is well made with good colors and lasts equally well compared to any other creature lure.
Bacon Rind summary: The Bacon Rind is a better creature lure due to its improved action and more lifelike appearance. It could be the difference between catching fish and going home empty handed!
