BuckShot Big Shot Tree Stands
Tree Stands Manufacturer: BuckShot BuckShot Model: Big Shot Review Category: Tree Stands
Purchase: Tree Stands I purchased my treestand at Greentop in Ashland, VA because I was looking for the largest, safest, most comfortable tree stand I could find. It cost $300 ten years ago, but it has been worth every penny!
Things I like about the BuckShot Big Shot Tree Stands: This stand is a dream to use. It is very easy to climb, extremely comfortable, and provides a shooting support for my rifle. I also like the fact that I can sit facing the tree or place my back to the tree. The BuckShot has a bar that completely surrounds the hunter which really helps me feel more secure. The bar is adjustable so that you can allow yourself a great deal of room. I am not normally comfortable being twenty or more feet in the air, but with this stand, I can hunt from dawn to dusk without concern.
What I don't like about the BuckShot Big Shot: In the travel mode, it doesn't fold up as flat as some of the other stands and it weighs 25 pounds, so for me, it can be a challenge to carry into the woods. However, once on site, it is easy to set up and use.
Tree Stands Big Shot quality: I have had my unit for at least ten years now and haven't experienced the first problem yet. The stand is well engineered and constructed.
Big Shot summary: If you are a hunter who appreciates a little extra room, comfort and security, this may be the tree stand for you. I climb trees quietly, quickly and securely with the BuckShot. I consider it a heavy tree stand, but am willing to deal with the weight to get the comfort this stand provides. The BigShot is now being manufactured by Equalizer Tree Stands and is called the Magnum.
