Purchase: Fishing Reels I am a Catfisherman from Central Oklahoma. I fish most all of the rivers in Oklahoma from the Red River to the Salt Fork. Most of my fishing is done on my Airboat running up and down the rivers looking for deep holes and big Cats. I have nothing but Abu Garcia reels on my boat. You never know when you are going to hook up with a big Cat that can weigh from ten to thirty pounds. All of my reels are Abu Garcia 7500C3 reels with breaded Sufix line using salt water three way number four hooks. As of this writing I have never broke a line or hook. My 7500 reels never let me down. I have had my reels for several years and I believe they are as good today as they were when they were new. When you have good equipment you never worry if it is going to work. Abu Garcia has been making and are continuing to make the best big cat fishing equipment money can buy. My reels were purchased from my local tackle shop several years ago. At that time these reels cost somewhere around $125.
Things I like about the Abu Garcia 7500c3 Fishing Reels: The best part of owing a Abu Garcia reel is you don't have to worry about having trouble with the reel. Keep it clean and oiled these reels will last a lifetime.
What I don't like about the Abu Garcia 7500c3: About the only thing that I have a problem with on my Abu Garcia reels is not using them on a daily schedule. I really don't have any problems other than normal wear like replacing the level wind paws.
Fishing Reels 7500c3 quality: Construction on all of the Abu Garcia reels is as good or better than all of the reels on today's market. Without there great engineering and construction they could not have the best fishing equipment made today.
7500c3 summary: Bottom line is put your money with the best equipment and the best line made today. Abu Garcia and Sufix line make a great combination if you are fishing for large Catfish on the rivers in Oklahoma. Good luck and Good Fishing no matter where you are and remember without a Abu Garcia reel you are taking a gamble you do not have to take.
