Purchase: Bows I bought my first bow in 2007 which happened to be a Bowtech Mighty Might from Lonesome elk archery shop in Terre Haute, IN. I's a southpaw or lefthanded for those who don't know and I'd had a hard time trying to locate a bow to suit me and for $275 I considered it a steal.
Things I like about the Bowtech Mighty Might VFT Bows: I like the short axle concept. It's small and I can easily manuever through brush in the woods without getting caught up and its so light sometimes I forget I'm even carrying it. This bow shoots great. It took me literally know time to sight it in and with 85% let off I can draw back and hold for the perfect shot.
What I don't like about the Bowtech Mighty Might VFT: I love this bow I was a little nervous about how short axled the bow was but its proven to fit my 5 foot 7 stature very well and I really cant say there is anything I would change
Bows Mighty Might VFT quality: I've never had a problem with this bow. I religiously apply string wax to my strings and check my bolts and fixtures to make sure nothing has cracked or dried out and this bow has put up with some major abuse for three years and still shoots perfect
Mighty Might VFT summary: At first I was a little hesitant about it because it was a short axle bow and my friends told me that my little "brush bow" wouldn't fare to well with long distance shots. My first year of deer hunting ever was with this bow and I killed a doe from about 35 yards from my tree stand. It was a perfect shot and I couldn't stop shaking from all the excitement and adrenaline and I'm happy to say that almost three years later, I've never missed a deer or had a problem with my bow and my friends, well let's just say they're not accustomed to winning 3D target shoots now that I go with them.
