Mathews XT switchback Bows
Bows Manufacturer: Mathews XT Mathews XT Model: switchback Review Category: Bows
Purchase: Bows I purchased a Mathews Bow from Boones Bow shop in West Virginia. It was around $700. My wife has a Mathews as do a few of my friends.
Things I like about the Mathews XT switchback Bows: This is a really nice bow. I became a pretty good shot with it. I used it on the outdoor range and also hunting. It was easy to sight in. Short, fast and light weight. Ive killed many deer with it along with 4 bears a wild hog and two alligators! Still going strong. Great bow.
What I don't like about the Mathews XT switchback: If the arrow rest is centered where its supposed to be it causes the fletchings to touch the cable. With blazer vanes. Causes the arrow to kick.
Bows switchback quality: Great quality. I did have a problem with splintering on a limb but it I contacted the bow shop and it was fixed with no problems.
switchback summary: The Mathews XT is a really nice bow. I went to Canada on a bear hunt with a group of friends. Of the bow hunters most had Mathews bows. One person had a Hoyt and he was the only person in camp that didnt kill but Hoyted a bear and had to track it and shoot it with a 50 caliber muzzle loader! True story!
I shoot a Mathews because I want to kill them not Hoyt them.
