Purchase: Bass Lures Baits I purchased my hula popper on November 11, 2009, at Walmart, paid about $5.50 for the lure.
Things I like about the Arbogast Hula Popper - Medium sized black/white body/yellow/back tail Bass Lures Baits: I can say honestly without a stutter that this is the best top-water lure that I have ever used. I am an experienced man who's fished a long time.
I primarily jig the hula popper spontaneously - but not to much as to scare the fish. Here are the results (because that's what people wanna know really). On the past 2 trips (2 hours or less), I used this hula popper and caught the following:
8 - 1/2 lb or less bass
5 - 1 lb. bass
3 - 2-3 lb. bass
1 -4/5 lb. bass
I give this lure a 5+ you will too!
What I don't like about the Arbogast Hula Popper - Medium sized black/white body/yellow/back tail: Wishing I had bought this lure sooner. There is absolutely nothing to like about this lure unless you hate to catch fish. LOL
Bass Lures Baits Hula Popper - Medium sized black/white body/yellow/back tail quality: It has held up very well to the 17 bass that have pounded it. I've gotten rid of lures that haven't produced 17 strikes in the past year!
Hula Popper - Medium sized black/white body/yellow/back tail summary: If you enjoy top-water fishing as much as I do, then you will definitely want to have this hula popper and an arsenal of hula poppers in your tackle box. I promise that you will have the time of your life catching a lot of fish and perhaps even some monster bass on your next trip. Otherwise, if you do not want to catch fish or do not like fishing on the top, then just ignore my recommendation!
