Purchase: Bows I bought one at Pacific archery & another one from a friend. I do a lot of target competition & hunting so I have two bows set up exactly the same just one is 60# & my hunting bow is 70#
The reason I both the switch back xt is because
I owned their Q2 before & was very happy with it.
I payed around 700.00 for my xt's.
Things I like about the mathews switchback xt Bows: I love it because it is quiet smooth
& very forgiving.I have taken many animals with this bow, & won many competitions.
What I don't like about the mathews switchback xt: The only thing that I don't like is that I go threw a lot of cables, they seam to wear out at the cam lobe.But mind you I do a lot of shooting.
Bows switchback xt quality: The construction & quality is good except
the cam wearing out the cable in the spot.
I have only owned Mathews so maybe the other single cam bows wear out the cable in the same spot I don't know. I am not knocking Mathews
I am very happy with their bows.
switchback xt summary: Final comment is that until I find a better bow I will keep on changing the cables as needed.
I am thinking of trying out their new monster bow.It is a completely different set up.
Archery is my passion & I don't know what I would do without it, I love target practice &
being in the woods & when you get the opportunity
to harvest an animal It is just a blessing from god.And there is no better thrill than to get close & personal.
