Purchase: Black Powder purchased at bass pro 2006, wanted a magnum muzzleloader that was a break down and price 330.00 seem to be reasonable.
Things I like about the cva optima pro muzzleloader optima pro Black Powder: break down makes for easy cleaning shoots accuratly and camo pattern looks good,stainless finish don,t rust when wet an sights are good,the weight makes for low recoil.
What I don't like about the cva optima pro muzzleloader optima pro: it is a little to heavy for long hikes or in hilly country.
Black Powder optima pro quality: made well ,like stainless finish an camo pattern sights are good an easy to clean.
optima pro summary: great muzzleloader very accurate with good looks cleaning is easy although its a little heavy for long hikes recoil is minimal sights are good trigger pulls a little heavy for some but i really don,t have a issue with it.breach plug removes ease seems to shoot more accurate with a minimal of 120grs or more.
