Purchase: Bows I have a friend who has a FX and he absolutely loves it, so I got to looking for one to buy. Finally found one on Ebay, and I only gave 200 dollars for it.
Things I like about the Mathews FX Bows: 1) I like the fact the the bow is small, (axle to axle)because a lot of the places I hunt are thick and I can move this bow around with ease.
2) Simple to the core. There isn't much to this bow mechanically. I'm a true believer in that the less moving parts, the better.
What I don't like about the Mathews FX : In my opinion this bow has no flaws. A bow hunters perfect weapon.
Bows FX quality: The bow is small and lightweight. Perfect for long hikes and thickets. Camouflaged in Realtree and has a zebra string on it.
FX summary: Overall, this is the perfect bow for anybody! Men, women, and kids, it doesn't matter. With its size and durability, I wouldn't be afraid of hunting pronghorns out West or dangerous game in Africa. I believe that performance, in any type of equipment, is the best quality to base opinion on. And the Mathews FX bow in my eyes definitely out preforms the rest.
