Purchase: Bows I purchased my Mission bow at a local dealer after trying numerous bows. I liked a few bows but money was also an issue. I don't have the $$ to spend a $800.00 on a bow. Plus accessories. And I don't fancy myself a certain company kind of guy, so it was any brands game. I was using a pse nova which I loved but it was used and I needed the upgrade. So I saved and saved. The Mission bow is phenominal. I shoot with a lot of guys that use the BIGGER name bows, and I get complements all the time from all kinds of archers about how quiet and smooth my bow is. I purchased it 2 years ago now and it has preformed flawlessly for me. Definitely might become a Mission brand guy after this purchase
Things I like about the Mission bow X-4 Bows: This bow is smooth. I pull 62# with a 28" draw and have never had a problem. And the price was in my range at $450.00. So I could get some accessories I needed too. And I shoot relegiously, Shoot with some competitve archers and go to shoots, and this bow impresses a lot of the skeptics.
What I don't like about the Mission bow X-4: The only qualm I have is you could not get this bow in 1/2" increments. The newer models may. I did adjust from a 28 1/2" draw to a 28"
Bows X-4 quality: This bow is manufactured by Mathews so it does have a lot of the quality of the bigger $$ bows. That being said. I have had this bow in the rain, in the snow and sleet it has held up beautifully. Considering the beating I put on this bow during hunting season. And the excessive use I give it, during the summer months. I would say it has great quality.
X-4 summary: If you are a regular Joe Shmoe and are looking for a bow that will preform well, is durable and will not break the bank. I would highly recommend a Mission X-4. I cannot vouch for the rest of the Mission line up. But you won't be sorry, with this I promise.
