Purchase: Trail Cameras (m-s) I got the camera for my birthday from my wife. She paid about $100 at Gander Mountain.
Things I like about the Stealth Cam STC-1540IR Trail Cameras (m-s): It takes great pictures. I have pictures of 5 bucks at one time at my feeder. It's taking about 1100 pictures every 2 weeks with minimal false alerts.
What I don't like about the Stealth Cam STC-1540IR: At a point in the change from dark to daylight the camera doesnt change from IR to regular and takes completely white pictures.
Trail Cameras (m-s) STC-1540IR quality: The quality and construction is very good. It's waterproof when closed and stands up to Texas heat very well.
STC-1540IR summary: I think this is a great camera and would buy another one right now. I like the plastic construction. I would like to see velcro on the straps to secure to a tree. this would make it alot easier to mount as i broke the plastic ring the first time I set it out.
