Purchase: Broadheads I bought them from cabelas and the cost was $34.99.
Things I like about the Rage Broadhead 100 grn 2 blade Broadheads: They work real well on smaller game like white tail deer, antelope, and Mule deer.
What I don't like about the Rage Broadhead 100 grn 2 blade: I believe that the rage is not built for larger animals like elk or moose. They break and deflect when they hit heavier bone.
Broadheads 100 grn 2 blade quality: Its ok but muzzy mx3s are better.
100 grn 2 blade summary: I am shooting a hoyt supertec. My arrow is a radial x weave 300 pro,27 in. with blazer vanes. Its shooting 313 ft. per sec. I shot an elk right behind the shoulder a little quatering away. The rage hit a rib and deflected into the shoulder. We had to track the elk for about a mile. I do not think the broadhead works on heavier boned animals. also my father shot an elk broadside at 30 yards same type of broadhead, he is shooting an x force at 326 ft per sec and it didnt even penetrate the opposite side. The broadhead will put a large hole in deer for sure but i believe that it looses energy on larger bones.
It also breaks real easy, not good.
