Purchase: Tree Stands This unit is my second Treelounge stand. My first was the original TreeLounge that weighed 49 lbs. So,when they redesigned it to weight only 19 lbs I jumped on it. At the show I paid $285 w/ bowhunters adapter kit and gun & bow holders. I purchased this at a deer & Turkey Expo in Ohio. And left with the feeling that I had made the deal of the century.
Things I like about the Cesso TreeLounge Tree Stands: Comfort. When I have toted this stand to the far side of the woods or the closest as it has come down to lately unless I have the ATV. I start the undaunting task of disassembling it to reassemble it on the tree and then as I mop off the sweat take two swigs of revitalizing water I asend up the tree. There at the top of my destination I again mop off sweat get turned around which I might add is a feat all it's own. Now, I'm sitting down and enjoying the comfort factor and catching my breath. When sitting I've found that I fall asleep rather fast in this stand. This is when I remember that all my stuff is still down there on the end on my pull rope.
What I don't like about the Cesso TreeLounge: The awkwardness and time consumingness of putting this stand on & taking off of the tree. Extremely loud to move with it or to simply handle it. When I'm sitting in the stand or standing up it has phantom squeaks. The power coated paint last up to three or five trips then starts to flake off.
Tree Stands TreeLounge quality: Aircraft aluminum used properly is a quality product. Here I believe that failed. And I was a victim.
TreeLounge summary: It comes down to this do you want to go take a nap in the woods and by shear luck come across a deer? If you quietly sneak through the woods to set up on the Big boys bedroom, dinnertable or path then dont take this Treelounge with you. I've owned this stand for more than 4 years and have suffered for it. I have found a replacement stand that is worthy of the tasks at hand.
