Purchase: Archery Equipment I originally recieved this scope as a gift from my wife. I had been using an older red-dot scope and felt the need to move up to a scope with multiple reticle points. She purchased this at Cabelas.
Things I like about the Excaliber Excalibur Lumi-Zone Crossbow Scope Archery Equipment: The scope appeared well built, scope lens were clear and eyepiece adjusted easily. The first few bolts I fired from my Excaliber crossbow were near dead-on. Very little adjustment was required for all four points to be accurate for the distance intended.
What I don't like about the Excaliber Excalibur Lumi-Zone Crossbow Scope: The reticle breaks loose and rotates within the scope.
Archery Equipment Excalibur Lumi-Zone Crossbow Scope quality: After roughly ten shots (bolts) the reticle began to rotate within the scope. I thought my mounts may be loose but found them all to be snug. As I continued to fire the reticle began to move so much that I was holding the bow tilted 90 degrees for the reticle to be on line. There was a serious problem.
I returned the scope very quickly (and easily) to Cabelas and was sent another unit. This too began to exhibit the symptoms described above. It doesn't take long to realize this scope is poorly made.
Excalibur Lumi-Zone Crossbow Scope summary: I have a very high regard for Excaliber crossbows - I have had two of them and, although expensive, they are a very well-built unit and worth every penny.
Unfortunately - whoever is building these scopes under Excaliber's name needs to be released from their contract. I do not recommend this scope unless you want some return-shipping experience.
