Purchase: Fishing Reels My girlfriend bought me a revo sx for christmas 08. She bought it from one of my cabela's catalogs. I don't know exactly how much she paid for the reel.
Things I like about the abu garcia revo sx Fishing Reels: I like the extra brake on the left side of my right handed revo sx. I fish in the marshes of texas and southwest louisiana a lot and that extra brake makes all the difference in the world.
What I don't like about the abu garcia revo sx: I haven't found anything i don't like about the reel.
Fishing Reels revo sx quality: The revo sx appears to have a solid construction and abu garcia is known for standing the test of time.
revo sx summary: Abu Garcia has finally caught up with Shimano with all the new series of reels they have now. i have used this revo sx in some pretty extreme situations and it has pulled out bass, reds and specks that i didn't think a bass rod would. The drag is very strong on these reels. If anyone has proved that, its me. I have always owned them and will continue to explore all the new abu series.
