Fred Bear Instinct Bows
Bows Manufacturer: Fred Bear Fred Bear Model: Instinct Review Category: Bows
Purchase: Bows I purchased my bow at the Bass Pro Shop in Prattville AL. I mainly purchased the bow because it fit into my budget. It was last years model and was set up with trophy ridge quiver and sight and a whisker biscuit for $299.
Things I like about the Fred Bear Instinct Bows: I really like the short 30 inch axle to axle length. It is a very smooth for that short of a bow. It also is very quiet and has very little to no recoil. I was super surprised at the quality of the bow for the price. I have bow hunted for 16 years and have put 3 times as much money into a bow before and I am as pleased with this set up as I was with my way more expensive ones.
What I don't like about the Fred Bear Instinct: I have found no fault in it yet. Well maybe I would like the quiver to be a little more secure.
Bows Instinct quality: beautiful camo pattern and laminate handle. really like the split limbs this is not my first split limb bow but my first in this price range. very well balanced and nice brace height. the bow just looks tough and agressive
Instinct summary: I was real short on money this year. I had my dreams set on buying a hoyt alpha max but was not financially able to. I actually was starting to think I would not be able to purchase a bow this year at all till I ran across the steal of a deal at my local BPS. If you are looking for a reasonably priced tree stand bow then this is the unit for you.
