Purchase: Hunting Gear Misc. Reveived it as a gift for Christmas. I am a hunter and spend a lot of time in the woods. Getting lost is always a fear. Thought the GPS would help.
Things I like about the magellan sportrack map Hunting Gear Misc.: It is rugged and can take dropping and tossing around in the pickup. Seems to be quite accurate.
What I don't like about the magellan sportrack map: Is hard to understand all the things it will do. There is no way to print the items in the help screen. I think this would be a great help. I purchased a video and it was a little help.

sportrack map summary: The GPS is like most software products. They become obsolete quickly. Most companies have no trade in policy for newer models. We are stuck with an older unit that we will not use and have to pay quite a lot to get a newer model. I feel the company would have a better customer following if some kind of trade in police was offered. After all return customers are the best.
