Purchase: Archery Equipment Bought from Dick's sporting goods. Had gift cards and wanted a deer target, and have had good success with the Block design in the past. Paid approximately $235.00
Things I like about the Glendel Glendel Buck Full Rut Archery Equipment: Large size, contained layers for the core, large antlers, easy to pull arrows.
What I don't like about the Glendel Glendel Buck Full Rut: Almost everything. I was very disappointed. The paint comes off with no help, the foam is very light duty (breaks easy) Very chinsey for the money you spend. NOT WORTH IT! The way the core fits into the body is a good concept that with a little more time and effort in development could be much better, but unfortunately overall very poor quality.
Archery Equipment Glendel Buck Full Rut quality: Very poor quality for the money. I will not buy another. The way the head fits on is ok. I don't like the type of foam they used. It is very light duty and seems to fall apart and almost crumble. I expected better as these are the same guys who developed The Block (which I do think is a good product)
Glendel Buck Full Rut summary: This is a definite "Don't BUY" Poor craftsmanship, durability and overall quality. The paint is very cheap and flakes off easily, the foam crumbles and breaks easily, and the mechanism to hold the core in is not well designed. (with more time in development though has potential)I regret buying mine, especially for $235. Usually I feel with archery equipment you get what you pay for but not in this case. The only hits are 1. it is big, that is nice and the arrows are easy to remove, and it looks cool.
