Parker Phoenix 34 Easy Draw Hunting Bows
Hunting Bows Manufacturer: Parker Parker Model: Phoenix 34 Easy Draw Review Category: Hunting Bows
Purchase: Hunting Bows When i first became interested in archery I took a class to learn the proper way to shoot. The brand of bow I was taught on was a Martin. When it came time to upgrade to newer equipment I went to the local pro shop as they sold that brand plus 2 others. At this pro shop I was allowed to shoot any bow they had. After shooting the different brands and models I chose the Parker Phoenix 34 Easydraw outfitter package for around $750.
Things I like about the Parker Phoenix 34 Easy Draw Hunting Bows: First I like the way the bow grip fits my hand. The bow feels comfortable and rubber grip does not get hot in the summer or cold in the winter. The second thing I like about this bow is the easydraw feature. It is very comfortable to draw and shoot at 70#. Next would be the 34 inch axel to axel length. This makes shooting out of treestands easy and stalking thru the brush a breeze. It weighs under 4 pounds including the quiver and 4 arrows so packing is not a problem. The 7 inch brace height allows for easy accuracy. One last but very important thing I like is the lifetime warranty and service. When it came time to change the let off module do to a hunting rule change there was no charge. the module was changed in under 5 minutes without the need for a bow press.
What I don't like about the Parker Phoenix 34 Easy Draw: There is nothing that I do not like about this bow or outfitter package. If I were to change anything it would be to upgrade to a brighter fiber optic site.
Hunting Bows Phoenix 34 Easy Draw quality: The bow and accessories are made of quality materials. Finish and workmanship are first rate. I have hunted with this bow now for 4 years and have yet to find anything that has come loose or made noise from being loose. After shooting thousands of times in the first 2 years the string leaches did wear out but were easily replaced at minimal cost. The bow string is now ready to be replaced as it is showing some sings of fibers hanging out but these items are to be expected as normal wear. After many times being handled the camo finish still does not show any wear.
Phoenix 34 Easy Draw summary: I purchased this bow to upgrade from the older 1980 equipment I had been using with the thought that this would last me the rest of my hunting career. After 4 years of hunting and practicing with this bow I still feel that I made the correct choice. I was so pleased with this Parker bow that I recommended this brand to both of my sons who also later purchased Parker bows.
