Purchase: Fishing Lures I first bought this lure 3 years ago in my local tackleshop for about 15$ because I wanted to try something new for my early spring pike fishing.
In the lake I usually fish there are alot of bream in the spring so the bait I fish with need to look like bream and I must say that the salmo slider has a perfect bream-like shape.
Things I like about the Salmo Slider float/sink Fishing Lures: It catches lots of fish! It has an awesome action when you just reel it in, and if you start jerking it, WOW! There's not many fish who can resist the salmo slider!
There are many different color choices to choose from, my favorite is the RR (real roach). A salmo slider in the RR color looks just like the real deal, bream!
The slider has a really thick layer of clear coat and it can resist many sharp teeth, one of my sliders has survived over 30 pikes, and it still works! :D
You can throw this baby faaaar away!
What I don't like about the Salmo Slider float/sink: There isn't much to complain about, the only thing I can think of is that the slider tangles with the line if you jerk it to hard but that doesn't happen very often..
Fishing Lures Slider float/sink quality: Pure quality all the way through! The clearcoat and paintjob is very good. The stock hooks that comes with the lure are pretty good. The weight is perfect.
Slider float/sink summary: This is a lure i would recommend for everyone! The 7 size is great for perch and zander (walleye) and probably for bass to (can't really say how well it works for bass 'cause I've never tried it), and the 10 and 12 sizes are damn good for pike! It's my favorite lure!
