Purchase: Fishing Misc Gear Well, ten years ago while I was fishing in Washington State, I came accross Berekley Power Eggs at Walmart, while looking for Berekley Power Bait. The idea of scented rubber eggs intriqued me as I had had good results with the power bait, but found the trout would suck it up the hook as it dissolved. So I bought two bottles, one in charstruse green and the other in orange as this was my favorite power bait colors. The results were fanatastic, not only could the trout not suck the bait off, but I could catch five or six trout with the same bait. This January while fishing Abilene State Park in Texas I rigged our poles with slip sinkers and a three foot leader, like I use in Washington. After 20 minutes of not catching anything, I started playing with leader length and ended up with a sixteen inch leader. We immediatly began landing nice trout use the chartreus green power eggs. There were 6 to 8 other fisherman within site, and no one was catching anything. Within 15 minutes the kids and I had landed 7 trout. Across from us was an elderly gentleman, who laughlingly asked "what in the world are you using?" I told him chartreus power eggs, and since we had caught enough I left my wife, daughter and grandkids to pack things up. I then took a small container of these eggs to show the gentleman. He had never seen the before, so I showed him how I was rigging them and gave him the small bottle of eggs to try. It turns out he was related to the other fisherman we could see around the lake. He yelled at them that if they wanted to know how to catch trout, come talk to these little fisherman because they are walloping them. He thanked me for the eggs and advise. My family and I walked up to the parking lot where we ran into another gentleman that inquired as to what we were using to catch those nice trout. I also showed him my rig-up and the eggs. He then asked if he could by some of the egs. I told him that I would give him some. He insisted on giving me
$2.00 and six lollipops for my grandchildren. It was a good fishing day for all involved.
Things I like about the Power Eggs by Berekley Berekley Power Eggs Fishing Misc Gear: I am impressed with the product, not only that you can catch nice fish; but can catch multiple fish with the same peice of bait. I like the assorted colors that I have found in the power eggs and am now expirmenting with the power grubs.
What I don't like about the Power Eggs by Berekley Berekley Power Eggs: I can not think of a down side to this product, I have been using this product for about ten years, and plan on allways having it avaiable.

Berekley Power Eggs summary: This is the finest all around bait I have found for trout. It comes in a wide assortment of colors for any tpe of water conditions. It is very durable and trout can not only not suck it off your hook, but you are able to use it repeataly for more value for your money.The fact that it floats helps when fishing in and area that has alot of weeds.
