NAP Broadheads Spitfire Broadheads

Broadheads Manufacturer: NAP Broadheads
NAP Broadheads Model: Spitfire
Review Category: Broadheads

Purchase: Broadheads I get my spitfires from either Cabelas, Bass Pro Shops, or Wal Mart. I decided about 5 years ago to switch to mechanicals because of the arrow flight issue. I have always shot a fast bow, and as everyone knows, a faster bow is harder to tune. When I switched, I just happened to get lucky and picked the NAP spitfire, and have been shooting it ever since. The spitfire fly's exactly like a field point, exactly. I have never shot a better broadhead, and highly recommend them. They cost around $ 34.99 for a pack of three.

Things I like about the NAP Broadheads Spitfire Broadheads: I don't even know where to start. I have shot spitfires on three different bows, and the minimum arrow speed i've had is 260 fps, so anything below this I can't say how mechanicals would work. Spitfires are extremely durable, i've got some up to 4yrs old. I resharpen the blades and they are good to go. Sometimes you have to take them apart and clean out the dirt, but very easy. I have never had a problem with these opening, and I have shot deer at every angle up to 35 yds away. Spitfires tear a mean hole, and leave blood trails like nothing you've seen from fixed blade broadheads. I've gotten friends to switch after hunting with me, and seeing what a spitfire can do. I have shot over 20 deer a year for the past 4 years, and I wouldn't go in the woods with anything else. Just last night, I shot a doe quartering away, and I exited right through the far shoulder, she went only 40 yards. Spitfires are amazing, you have nothing to be afraid of when shooting them.

What I don't like about the NAP Broadheads Spitfire: The only thing I don't like is the price. I will say though, you are paying for quality.

Broadheads Spitfire quality: The construction of a spitfire is unbeatable. You would think the thin little blades would bend easily, but not the case. Spitfires have no rubber bands or any other junk some of the other mechanicals have. I have shot through deer and hit driveways, stone, and even trees, these things are almost indestructible. I have even had to dig one out of a tree, but I just resharpened it, and it was good to go. Believe me, with the number of deer I shoot, if the quality of spitfire wasn't top notch, I wouldn't be using them.

Spitfire summary: Bottom line, Spitfire is the best broadhead I've ever used. I'm in a management association, and I shoot a lot of deer, and spitfire always gets the job done. It's cuts a large hole, and 9 times out of 10 you'll find your deer even on a marginal hit. I have shot 11 deer this year with the bow, and only one has gone over 50 yds. That deer was a big buck, and I hit him tight behind the shoulder and got one lung, but I got him. Spitfires have always taken care of me on marginal hits. Hands down, if you are looking for the best broadhead money can buy then spitfire is for you.
