Purchase: Bows Working with a guy who was really into bow hunting last year hooked me up with a Tomkat because he purchased a new one. We shot all summer and I was able to get this bow from him for $600. It was set up with the best of the best with new strings, trophy ridge sight and rest,aluminum arrows with field points, full metal jacket arrows with slick trick 125 grain broadheads,some muzzy MX-4, a couple of releases, primos carrier and full bow case. Very pleased with the bow and was able to harvest three deer with it. I love bow hunting now and am trying to get the rest of my family into it.
Things I like about the Bowtech Tomkat Bows: I love everything about it!!! The smooth draw-back and the quiet release and the consistancy of every arrow grouped so tight. The size of it is perfect to for carrying and easy put up and shoot and it not heavy at all. Recommending this bow to anyone I see!!!Love it
What I don't like about the Bowtech Tomkat: I have no problems with the unit. I take ultra care of it.
Bows Tomkat quality: The contruction is super tough and have lots of faith in the bow that nothing will go wrong. Nothing is loose or makes and noise. Great construction for me. As a beginner bow hunter it was perfect but I will stick with this bow for a very long time and probably end up passing it to a kid somewhere. Its definently up to par in every aspect.
Tomkat summary: Well basically the Bowteck Tomkat is super awesome and I am so lucky to come across such a great deal. I ended up with the bow, arrows, quivers, broadheads, to cases to everthing and most importantly a great teacher who shows me everything I need to learn about treating the bow right and how great it is to get out and got so close to the deer for a awesome shot. I hope to go after bigger game with my Tomkat.
