Purchase: Hunting Bows I recently bought the 2008 Bear odyssey II for bow hunting whitetails. I payed 350.00 total for the complete package including 3 arrows, a 4 piece quiver,a whisker biscuit, peep sight,3 Pin fiber optic sight and nock loop. I bought it at Town Hall Archery in Belleville IL.I bought this bow because being a female hunter there are few bows within my draw length that where in my price range, this seemed to fit me best.
Things I like about the Bear Archery Products Bear Odyssey II Hunting Bows: This bow is so quiet and stable; Its tough through everything it has been put through since its purchase,it is holding up fine. The 3 pin sight is extremely impressive for factory. It shoots fast enough and quiet enough for hunting. The sight stays sighted in for a long time,in the year i had it i only had to sight it once. It is so light weight and easy to handle. Comes with nice strings and its easily adjustable without a bow press.
What I don't like about the Bear Archery Products Bear Odyssey II: I cant say anything bad about it but it is so light weight that you might want to buy a stabilizer.
Hunting Bows Bear Odyssey II quality: This bow weight under 4.0lbs, Dual cams with easy adjustment, you just use an allen wrench to change the draw length. The bow's draw weight extends up to 55#
Bear Odyssey II summary: Female hunter and begging, you can not beat the quality of this bow, it is great for the woods or just for target shooting. You will fall in love with the bow, I did right away. If you are someone passionate about bow hunting or archery and you need something within price and draw length,i highly recommend this bow.
