Purchase: Trail Cameras (m-s) bought this camera at wal-mart because of the quality of other moultrie products that i have used. paid just over $100.
Things I like about the moultrie mfh-dgw-4.0 Trail Cameras (m-s): i like the options available when programming, the toughness of the protective case and the quality of pictures.
What I don't like about the moultrie mfh-dgw-4.0: i had the camera for just over 1 year which is outside the warranty window when the flash quit working. i was told by moultrie that it would be cheaper to buy a new camera than to have this one fixed. buying 6 d-cell batteries at a time gets expensive.
Trail Cameras (m-s) mfh-dgw-4.0 quality: the construction of the unit is good. apparently i was taken in by the quality of some of the components (like the flash).
mfh-dgw-4.0 summary: i purchased this camera with the impression that it would give me several years of quality pictures and service seeing that i only use it approximately 3-4 months out of the year. i like the quality of the pictures and the video and the toughness of the protective case, however i will think twice about buying another moultrie product or recommending one of their game cameras to anyone.
