Eastman Outfitters Firstcut Exp100 Broadheads
Broadheads Manufacturer: Eastman Outfitters Eastman Outfitters Model: Firstcut Exp100 Review Category: Broadheads
Purchase: Broadheads I bought 3 packs of these on a closeout rack at Walmart several years ago for $3 a pack. I could not pass it up for the price. I figured I could sell them to someone and make a few bucks.
Things I like about the Eastman Outfitters Firstcut Exp100 Broadheads: When I got home I figured I would shoot them to see if they would even shoot right. I put tape around the blades to test them and I was more than impressed. Out to 35 yards I could hit a 3 inch circle. I liked that with only 2 opening blades there is less chance for deflecting arrows on quartering away deer. The retail price won't burn a hole in your wallet.
What I don't like about the Eastman Outfitters Firstcut Exp100: The only thing I do not like is that the screws to replace the blades are almost impossible to get out once they are used on a hunt.
Broadheads Firstcut Exp100 quality: I have had a few of the main shafts of the heads bend. Usually this occurred while hunting in rocky terrain with pass through shots. Otherwise they are sell built and the cutting blades are sharp and open very easily.
Firstcut Exp100 summary: I have shot numerous deer with these heads. I have told many people about them and they just look at me like I have 3 heads because I don't shoot X brand. The farthest I have had a deer run is 130 yards after being shot. That deer was a 175lb 8 point buck that scored 132. I have bought more since my original bargain buy and they have never disappointed me on a hunt. I would recommend these to anyone looking for a great broad head that is economical to shoot. They shoot exactly like a field point and leave amazing blood trails
