Purchase: Rifle Scopes I purchased this scope from Cabelas for $320.00 dollars. I had been searching for a high quality cost effective scope, I researched many scopes and found the Bushnell elite series to be the best in its class.
Things I like about the Bushnell Elite 4200 Rifle Scopes: This is absolutely the BEST rifle scope in its class. One word to describe this scope is flawless. The clarity, quality, and durability characteristics of this scope is perfect. I purchased 3-9x40 and will never take it off my gun. Low-light, bright lights, far and near, this scope performs. No disappointments.
What I don't like about the Bushnell Elite 4200: There is one improvement that I wish Bushnell would consider: Increasing the eye relief from 3.2-3.4 inches to 4 inches.
Rifle Scopes Elite 4200 quality: Fantastic quality, top of its class. Optics and resolution clarity is spectacular, even in any weather situation due to it`s Rainguard feature.
Bright, Clear, excellent field of view. Power ring turns easily even in cold weather. Turret clicks are positive and need no tools. This scope rivals Leupold & Burris in this power & price range but with more field of view."
Elite 4200 summary: Bushnell truly has a winner with the 3X9 Elite 4200! Simply the very best for the dollar!!!! This is a real winner, I used an Elite 4200 to take the buck of a lifetime in tough conditions. The optics are awesome and the "Rainguard coating" made it all happen. I shot my trophy in a heavy snow storm in freezing conditions, it was the coldest I have ever been, I couldn't see anything through my binoculas because had foged up, my scope was still clear and I made my shot.
Being able to see the target made all the difference!
