Things I like about the Danner Danner GTX Hikers Hunting Boots: Perfect fit. Very comfortable. Gortex. Great traction on rough terrain. Top quality construction. Wears like iron.
What I don't like about the Danner Danner GTX Hikers: Shoe laces wore out in 2 weeks of very rough hiking in rocks and sagebrush. Replaced with better laces, problem solved.
Hunting Boots Danner GTX Hikers quality: The boot laces almost to the toe with a perfect fit from toes to ankle. The sole has a tread design that really grips the terrain up and downhill. It has a protective hard rubber on the toe area that protects against rocks.Gortex lined with no insulation. The construction is top quality.
Danner GTX Hikers summary: I used the boots for a month guiding in NE Wyomings BLack Hills. I rate these boots as important as my rifle and binoculars. I hiked rough terrain and the comfort, fit, and support was outstanding. Gortex kept my feet dry. I bought a second pair for work. It takes only a short time for break in. Top quality! This boot is not for cold weather but great for the outdoorsman in warm to cool weather in any terrain. terrain.
